A series of sculptures by Larry Stokes, opened on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at The Loiter Galleries in Long Beach, California

LARRY "DARNELL" STOKES  Mr. Stokes is offering art work he created, for exhibit and purchase. This allows the public to collect this fine work at a very reasonable price and be assured by the artist, himself, of the integrity of each piece. All work will be accompanied by a "Certificate of Authenticity", attesting to the composition, process and full description of each piece.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND  Mr. Stokes has exhibited widely through out the United States in some of the most prestigious museums and galleries. He has taught many courses ranging from drawing, painting, & printmaking to art history. These classes were taught at such institutions of higher learning as: California State University at Long Beach, California State University at Los Angeles, Citrus College, Owensboro Art Museum & Guild, and Kentucky Wesleyan College. Mr. Stokes, also, has received awards and honors throughout his career, Far too many to list.
